Almost forgot to post a new photo....again!

These plants are starting to take off now that they have been in the groophouse for almost three weeks now.

I might have to tuck some onions in between the peppers and tomatoes just for the fun of it!

I KNEW that I should have posted on Friday when I thought about it. I was out of my routine as I had taken a day of vacation...so this foto is from this past Saturday not earlier in the week.

At Last!!!

It feels like this project has been in progress for a very long time...there are projects that have been longer, but that's a different post altogether...

I present the finished Groophouse...

TA-DAAAA!!

I am so excited to get in there and put my plants in the garden bed...my experimental salsa garden will be happening in there! Even if it is raining outside, I can hide out in there and play with my plants and plan the next season!

I love that this isn't perfect, because we aren't perfect - I love that it was home made and a work in progress to get it to where it is today. I love my husband for being willing to take my idea and make it something special.

This year I will attempt to grow things beyond the traditional gardening season...at least into fall.

Friday Foto

Garlic from May 26th

So, I didn't take any photos this week, but we did get some stuff done out in the garden, in the boxes AND the free range garden. I took some time to get my still too small tomato starts into the garden. I had a goal to get as many things into the garden as possible. Which in the end was all of my cherry tomatoes (9 teeny tiny plants) cucumbers, acorn squash and potatoes.

We are heading to the Mother Earth News Fair on Sunday. The temps are supposed be HOT like almost 100 degrees, so hopefully we won't melt while checking out all the fun stuff!
